JDA Software Plans Debt Offering $275 Million

JDA Software Group Inc., which makes inventory management software for retailers, said Monday it plans to sell 275 million U.S. dollars in senior notes in private offerings.

JDA plans to use proceeds to pay for the purchase of i2 Technologies, Inc., together with fees and other transaction costs. JDA agreed earlier this month to buy rival i2 around 434 million U.S. dollars.

The stock closed at the beginning of a decline of 6 cents to $ 23.48.
