I run a blog called "The Pageant Planet" and so I am completely sold out to the benefits of pageants. However, watching this show it seems more about the mothers, reliving their dreams through their daughters than it does about the daughters wanting to be in pageants. Makeup, extensions...come on. Let the little girls be little girls and do not pressure them to relive your dreams. This has the potential to really scar a child.
