Asus announces the new netbook on its website on 19 November, and believe that the new machine will be an unprecedented step towards the strengthening of netbook users. The 1201N is designed to 'multimedia-minded consumers who appreciate the portability of netbooks, but lacks the typical treatment of muscle.
The new Asus Eee PC 1201n sports 12-inch LED-backlit screen that offers resolution of 1366x768 pixels and supports HD content playback 720p. ASUS has included in the 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom 330 processor, up to 3 GB of DDR2 memory and 250GB SATA 5400RPM hard drive for storage. Samsung N510 netbook boasts superior integrated Nvidia GeForce 9400M compared to the Lenovo IdeaPad S12 Eee PC and 1201N.
Eee PC 1201N also says that the stereo speakers, a VGA port, three USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, a headphone jack and a microphone input. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Basic, Laptop says.
