American astronaut Capt. Charles "Chuck" Baker lands on Planet 51 thinking this is the first person to set foot in it. To his surprise, that the planet is inhabited by little green people who are happy living in a world white fence, and whose only fear is that there will be invaded by foreign powers, discovers.
Children will enjoy the fast action and slapstick gags and carers of adults can laugh at something more suggestive jokes, so opening on Friday must have a strong start to the week before Thanksgiving. After "Disney's The Princess and the Frog" hits theaters, so "Planet 51's" box office could suffer a sharp drop-off.
The cartoon world is populated by little green people with antennas, four fingers, webbed hands and feet. His thought and culture in the 50s are clean, including music, comics and films that exploit fear of monsters and aliens. They even know to call these creatures from outer space "humanoid". So arrive.
