- To increase the number of grocery stores in low income neighborhoods
- Improve mechanisms to purchase food directly from local farms
- Providing incentives to retailers to offer healthy food and drink choices
- Restrict advertising of less healthy foods and beverages
- Encourage smaller sizes of food vendors
- Discourage consumption of sweetened beverages
Educate someone who knows about the risk of diabetes
