Children's day speeches and poems These speeches in praise of children can be used for children's day, international children' day or universal children's day.
20th November is universally celebrated as Children’s Day, in India this day has been preponed to 14th November, the date the marks the birth anniversary of independent India’s first Prime Minister – Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.
In an auspicious occasion of Children's day this year, His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch delivered a speech, urging adults to be good examples for children.
The Supreme Patriarch suggested that adults, including parents, teachers, government and political sector, should be good examples to children, as children usually imitate things that adults do, and when they grow up they will continue to do what they saw.
On Children's day speeches I want to say that :
Children are our tomorrow - our future. They may tomorrow grow up to be Einsteins, Rabindra Naths, Gandhis, Abdul Kalams & Kishore Kumars or they may just turn out to be a burden on the society, stragglers in the race of life waiting for some one to give them a job.It is in our hands…. in the hands of our schools, teachers and parents to instill those values in them which will help them to grow up as good human beings who will contribute to the society.
