AICC Secretary Rahul Gandhi will interact with the workers in this industrial city during his two days from December 7th Uttar Pradesh.
"Rahul will meet with factory workers, rickshaw pullers and employees working in various tanneries December 8, MP Kanpur and Minister of the Union coal, Sri Prakash Jaiswal, said by telephone.
During his meeting with Rahul workers will listen to their problems and find solutions, he said.Rahul also plans to meet with party leaders of youth and young entrepreneurs in the city, he said.
Kanpur is known as the city's workers and also called the industrial capital of Uttar Pradesh.Deputy constituency Amethi also gets the support young people in the field of party affiliation.
Youth Congress of India has launched a recruitment campaign, which ends on 15th December in 26 Lok Sabha constituencies of the state to draw young people into the game.
"Rahul is expected to visit a number of districts where the membership drive is going," party sources said here today.During his visit, Rahul will meet with the likely candidates for the 2012 Assembly polls, they said.
Later in the day, the Congress leader also participates in programs organized in Kannuaj, Farrukhabad and Etawah and Kanpur (rural).
